Resumen

En este artículo se presenta un análisis de algunos aspectos destacados de la trayectoria de la directora de escena Eva Le Gallienne, considerando sus aportes a la renovación del teatro en su práctica o en su organización, y su pertinencia en el momento actual. Para ello se ha realizado una revisión de literatura y se incorporan al debate documentos de la época especialmente relevantes. Como resultado se destacan algunos de los principios que sustentaron su quehacer en la escena y que a día de hoy pueden ser adecuados para un mejor arreglo de los teatros y pertinentes para la creación escénica como arte individual y colectivo.
